For the first time in its 19-year history, Camosun College Athletics is proud to be hosting the 2012-13 Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST) Provincial Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, February 28 to March 2, 2013 in Victoria.

2012-13 Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST) Provincial Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships.Showcasing the top intercollegiate basketball teams and talent in the Province, the Championships promise to be a must-see event for sport fans of all ages.

As the official host of this year's Championships, Camosun will be welcoming fans and competing teams to the Chargers' home facility in the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) located at the College's Interurban campus.

At the Championships, students from Camosun's Centre for Sport and Exercise Education (CSEE) will be applying their newly acquired skills to assist with athletic therapy and event activities, communications, and other hosting duties. Prior to the event, CSEE students will be out in the community visiting local elementary and high schools with information on how school groups can attend and become part of the action.

Seeded 6th in both the women's and men's categories, Camosun will play the feature games on opening night at 6 and 8pm.
