Camosun’s Love Your Learning Library campaign has reached over $175,000 following the College Foundation’s 15th annual fundraising dinner auction, Vancouver Island Fresh, which generated over $30,000, March 27.
At the dinner, Peninsula Co-op, a locally owned co-operative of gas and food service centres, also announced its support of Camosun’s libraries with a $120,000 donation. 1st Team Consulting contributed $20,000 to the cause.
More than 150 guests dined on an outstanding four-course gourmet meal of local lamb, seafood, chicken and libations expertly prepared by Camosun’s Culinary Arts students and chefs and served by the College’s Hotel/Restaurant administration students along with the Marriott culinary team.
