Earn one of three key APICS designations through your work at Camosun: CSCP, CPIM or CLTD.

CSCP Certified Supply Chain Professional

The CSCP program helps you demonstrate your knowledge and organizational skills for developing more streamlined operations. Since its launch in 2006, more than 20,000 professionals in 82 countries have earned the CSCP designation.

The APICS CSCP designation is the most widely recognized educational program for operations and supply chain management professionals around the globe. It is a designation that is sought by thousands of employers and recruiters. It provides you with a mastery of supply chain management best practices and distinguishes you as an industry expert with specialized, high-level knowledge and skills. Course materials

You'll purchase your materials from your instructor, payable directly to APICS Vancouver. Materials will be shipped to you.

  • Course materials fee: $1,195 (not included in tuition)

Exam

Upon completion of this course, students are eligible to write the CSCP certification exam.

Exam prerequisites (one of the following)

  • Bachelor’s degree, or
  • 3 years of related business experience, or
  • CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM, SCOR-P, C.P.M., CSM or CPSM designation

The exam is 3.5 hours long and contains 150 multiple choice questions. Exams can be taken at any time dependent on the availability at testing centres, which are located throughout Greater Victoria.

  • Exam fees: $695 USD for APICS members, $915 USD for non-members

CPIM Certified in Production and Inventory Management

Since 1973, the CPIM program has educated more than 75,000 manufacturing professionals on essential terminology, concepts, and strategies related to demand management, procurement and supplier planning, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, performance measurements, supplier relationships, quality control, and continuous improvement. It is the industry de-facto standard for those in inventory, manufacturing and distribution roles.

Course format and materials

This comprehensive class room training course will provide students with information and tools to master the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) body of knowledge. It is the only single resource available that is designed specifically to help candidates pass the exam. 

The learning system materials will include printed materials, progress checks, quizzes, practice exams and case studies delivered through a comprehensive online learning portal. The CPIM Part 1 class is 36 hours and the CPIM Part 2 class is 42 hours.

  • Course materials fee, Part 1: $590 CDN (not included in tuition)
  • Course materials fee, Part 2: $685 CDN (not included in tuition)

Exam

Upon completion of this course, students are eligible to write the CPIM certification exam. The CPIM program consists of five modules with an exam for each module that reflects critical areas in production and inventory management.

  • Bachelor’s degree, or
  • 3 years of related business experience, or
  • CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM, SCOR-P, C.P.M., CSM or CPSM designation

CLTD Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution

With the CLTD designation, become a recognized expert in the logistics, transportation and distribution fields. Certification demonstrates in-depth knowledge of a broad range of topics to set you apart from your colleagues—proving your high level of knowledge and skills. You'll be a more valuable asset to your organization, keeping you and your organization more competitive in today’s global economy.
