There has never been a better time for women to consider a career in the trades. Camosun’s 12-week program will allow you to explore your options. Designed for those eligible through Women in Trades Training program initiative, this could be your answer to a hands-on career with competitive wages.

The Woman in Trades Exploration program will allow you to make an informed decision about which trade to enter. You will learn about practical skills and industry requirements for a variety of building trades as well as how to secure employable skills and further training. Depending on your current skill level, this unique program will provide you with the upgrading you need to pursue a trade including trades mathematics. It will also give you the opportunity to learn about the trades program offered by Camosun College.
Graduates from this program may seek entry into one of Camosun’s trades apprenticeship or pre-apprenticeship training programs.
