Susan Wilson

Hello, my name is Susan Wilson. I am Coast Salish from Cowichan Tribes: my mother's side is Tsartlip, and my parents are from the Lkwungen community. After 23 years managing other businesses and corporations, it was time for a career change. Starting at the Victoria Native Friendship Centre as the Assistant for the Career Employment & Education Resources department, I quickly discovered that working with youth and communities was what I wanted to do. Since then, I have worked as a Vocational Consultant and Bladerunners Job Coach. At Camosun, I am the Indigenous Peoples in Trades Training Coordinator.

I have a deep appreciation for my traditional culture and a great respect for my three children. Grandma always said "children are gifts to be treasured."

Come visit or call me anytime.
