HHS is pleased to acknowledge the recipients of the 2020 student awards. In lieu of a ceremony, the School has opted instead to record a congratulatory video for this year’s recipients. We would also like to thank all of the generous donors who made these awards possible.
Award eligibility
Eligibility for the School of Health and Human Services awards requires that you be enrolled in one of our programs during the current offering or academic calendar year.
Get nominated!
Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
Be considered
In order to be considered, you should:
- Maintain a good GPA or be in good academic standing.
- Show exceptional aptitude and superior potential for a career in your field.

Bursaries
Thanks to our generous donors and to the work of the Camosun College Foundation bursaries are provided to full-time students with financial need.
You can apply for all bursaries with one application in early September and January.

The Pat Wong Memorial Award was established in 1991 by her family and colleagues in the program formerly called Continuing Care Assistant at Camosun College. The Allen and Loreen Vendekerkhove Family Foundation Award for Indigenous HCA Student
