Artemis Fire

Artemis Fire is Métis, with roots in the Red River, Dakota territory and Western Europe and is a visitor to the unceded territories of the Lkwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. She is passionate about supporting children, youth, families and communities on their journeys.

Artemis believes that we are all on a learning journey and we all have something to teach. She values experiential education. Her areas of study and work include: indigegogy, child and youth work, community work, child welfare, Indigenous leadership, social/environmental and Indigenous justice, languages, fine arts and holistic counselling and wellness. Artemis has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work and highly values the teachings she has received from Indigenous knowledge keepers, Old Ones and young people.
