Creative HR strategy inspires Camosun business students

    Posted Mon, 30 May 2011

There may be ways to take the life out of a zombie, but you can't take the entrepreneurial spirit out of Camosun business students!

Victoria’s Copeland Communications employed a unique contest earlier this year to select candidates for marketing internship positions at the agency. The result was a show of talent, plus a lot of fun and social media buzz for both the agency and the contestants.

Two Camosun business students—Cale Frombach and Bryan Dwyer—secured sought-after internship positions. Dwyer finished his second year of the Business Administration – Marketing diploma program earlier this month. Those credits transfer to year three of Camosun’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program which Dwyer is enrolled in for September. First-up - his internship position at Copeland Communications which starts April 25.
