Camosun and Songhees cook together for reconciliation, fundraise for student scholarship fund

Instructor Nicole Kilburn and her colleagues in the college's Anthropology, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management departments are partnering with the Songhees Nation on March 23 to host an evening of indigenous cuisine, culture and cooking for reconciliation with a focus on food sovereignty.
Camosun College Marketing Business Students Take on Global Initiatives

Fourth-year Marketing Business students at Camosun College are raising funds to support VIDEA, a local not-for-profit international development agency, in their efforts to help provide education to underprivileged Zambian youth to attend The Rural Children’s Summit in Zambia, Africa. Camosun students are fundraising through various events in Greater Victoria during the week of March 19-25 as part of their course requirement.
2018 Marketing & Public Relations Career Fair

On February 22, the BUS 360 – Global Business Strategies class, as well as other students from Camosun, UVic and RRU participated in a career fair and networking event, which had a focus on global communications opportunities - at home and abroad.
The night's Master of Ceremonies was Ruth Mojeed , CPRS-VI Board Director, with panelists Iris Mueller, Brian Cant , Doug Brown and Susan Brown.
HRC West Case Competition

Camosun College, School of Business sent a team, Nova Consulting, to the 5th HRC West Case Competition held in Calgary at SAIT on March 2 & 3rd, 2018.This year’s team consisted of 4th year BBA students: Ashley Curran, Thomas Salmon, Laura Swiatlowski and Student Coach, Eric Donald with Faculty Mentor Carole Gosse.
HRC West is the first business case competition in western Canada dedicated entirely to Human Resources. It was launched in response to a gap in practical learning opportunities for post-secondary students specializing in HR.

Effective March 1, the course waitlist process will no longer auto-enrol you into a course you have waitlisted for when a space becomes available (and you have reached the top of the list). Instead, you will be notified through your email address on file (as listed on Camlink). Registration is no longer automatic. You will have a 24-hour period to register, which will be noted in the email. If you don't register during the 24-hour period, you will be removed from the waitlist.
