DROP, COVER and HOLD ON this Thursday October 19, 2017 @ 10:20am
This Thursday, October 19, Camosun will participate in the Great BC ShakeOut earthquake exercise.
Students, staff and faculty at both campuses will be alerted to Drop, Cover and Hold-On, and to evacuate all buildings and go to a designated Emergency Assembly Point.
When you hear the Start Signal at 10:20am — three (3) air-horn/whistle blasts, DROP, COVER and HOLD ON

Prof. Dr. Torsten Graap (THI) presents from his forthcoming book, The Future of the North: Sustainability in Nordic Countries. Analysis and critical comparison.
Sustainability and environmental policies are on the minds of governments around the world; however, do they do enough to ensure a stable future? Joined by researchers from six Nordic countries, Dr. Graap uses a community-developed model of sustainability to analyze current policy, and determine The Future of the North.

A seat on Education Council is an opportunity to be involved in ensuring students are provided with quality, relevant educational experiences through establishing academic policy, approving curriculum, and advising the Board on educational policy.
There are two vacant seats for student representation, one for Lansdowne campus and one for Interurban campus. The term of office is November 1, 2017 to July 31, 2018.
