Take advantage of CPABC (Chartered Professional Accountant) events and resources and get ready for a career in accounting.

Events

In agreement with CPABC and the other firms, firms attending the events have agreed to the following deadlines for positions

Application Close Date: Wednesday, September 20th at 11:59am
Offers Out Date: Monday, October 2nd at 9am

The timing of interviews and other dates/deadlines are at each firm’s discretion, although it was agreed that students should be given at least two days to decide whether or not to accept an offer.
Firms are encouraged to post their position on the Camosun website Co-op and Career Portal.

If you are an accounting student or a graduate interested in an articling or co-op position for 2018, then you will want to attend the various events occurring this fall.

Accounting Resume Sessions

If you are an accounting student or a graduate interested in an articling or co-op position for 2018, then you will want to attend one of these sessions. Learn how to write or improve your resume. Receive one on one assistance from Camosun experts!

Grant Thornton Networking and Information Session

If you are interested in a possible future career with them, then you should attend to learn about the Victoria office and meet their firm representatives. This networking and recruiting event will interest students and graduates who are interested in positions starting in 2018. If you will not be available to be hired in 2018, you may still attend as it is an excellent opportunity to meet with the firm.
