Karen Clarke Instructor, Applied Business Technology
Karen has been teaching at Camosun since 1989 and specializes in English and Business Communications. She completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto, and she did her Masters and PhD research at the University of Victoria. She was Project Leader for the Integrated Curriculum Pilot Project in the School of Business (1999-2000), and she served as the College's Learning Technology Facilitator from 2000 to 2002. In addition to her professional life, Karen has been instrumental in establishing a charity program here in Victoria called From Breakfast to Beethoven. She is also an elite level tennis player and has competed on the National Tennis Team in six World Championships over the past several years.
