Bamberton: Contested LandscapeOpen Space Nathan Bomford, "Bamberton: Contested Landscape" invites visitors to physically move through, over, under and around an installation made of reused material from demolition sites and from previous work. The structure confronts land use skirmishes of Bamberton, an abandoned cement plant on Vancouver Island, through architectural references and a fabricated oratorical arena. Camosun College African Awareness Committee

Camosun College African Awareness Committee has been very busy in 2009 spreading the word about recent progress and changes in Africa... read more here. The Committee recently co-sponsored a special screening of Cinema Politica's Artistide and the Endless Revolution in support of aid relief for Haiti. Archaeological Field Assistant program heads north

Camosun College enthusiastically accepted the invitation to deliver its unique Archaeological Field Assistant program in the northern community of Tsay Keh Village. Read more about the challenges and success of this unique project. Certificate in Archaeological Field Assistant next intake starts May 2010.
