David began teaching courses as a sessional instructor at Camosun College in 2011, and joined the Chemistry Department faculty in 2014. He completed his BSc and MSc at the University of Victoria. His research interests include the testing of immunoliposome and viral vectors as potential gene replacement therapies for genetic disorders of the central nervous system, using transgenic and mutant animal models. David is a graduate of Camosun’s Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology program and he greatly enjoys the opportunity to "pay forward" his excellent educational experience here to a new generation of students.
