At Camosun, I have taught beginner to advanced English language learners, and also delivered teacher training to Panamanian primary English teachers, as well as Mexican secondary school English teachers. My previous role as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Sussex involved teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and while an Associate Lecturer in Teacher Training at the University of Chichester, I delivered teacher training to Spanish and Chinese primary English teachers, as well as Chinese university English instructors. My research interests include teacher development, beliefs and identity, creativity and materials design. I have had articles published in Teacher Trainer Journal, English Teaching Professional and Modern English Teacher, and have taught in South Korea, Spain, the UK, Turkey, Qatar and Mexico. I am a lifelong learner, and currently completing the PIDP (Provincial Instructor Diploma Program) at VCC. Additionally, I am particularly interested in how I can help citizens in our community, and volunteer with several wonderful local organizations.
