Now is the time to get started in one of BC's booming trades with Camosun's Provincial Welders Training Programs!
Conforming to industrial standards, practices and procedures, the competency-based, self-paced welding courses provide you with the skills you'll need to prosper in today's job market. Welding training at Camosun requires you to become competent in all welding processes—individualized and personalized instruction provides you with ample opportunity for one-on-one discussion on specific applications and techniques.
The Welding program is divided into three levels
The following programs are also available:
- Welder Apprenticeship
- Welding Upgrading - for presently or recently employed welders who wish to improve their techniques, become more proficient in special processes, or upgrade existing qualifications under A.S.M.E or C.S.A.(C.W.B.) codes.
- Welder Testing - the Camosun welding department is a provincially accredited licensed testing agency and tests welders
- Welding programs are also offered through Continuing Education.
Camosun can also provide a wide range of short term practical and theory welding courses in response to training needs of businesses and industry through our Contract Training department.
