University Transfer courses are just that—a wide variety of courses that are completely transferable to universities throughout British Columbia. We offer 200 first- and second-year courses in the arts, sciences, business and education. If you are transfering to UVic, you may wish to visit our Course selection & planning page.
Why you should apply:
- It's extremely flexible. You can attend part-time or full-time at any time of the year. Some courses are available online or delivered over the radio on Village 900 AM. You can even mix college-level courses with upgrading courses.
- It will help you decide on a degree major or career focus. You can select from a wide variety of courses to find out what areas interest you the most.
- You can customize your education for a seamless transfer to the university of your choice. Camosun's Academic Advisors will help you build an education plan that's exactly right for you.
- Get a head start in a certificate or diploma program. For instance, if you're waiting to get into the Nursing program, you could take English and your electives ahead of time, giving yourself a reduced workload later.

Camosun's University Transfer courses are equivalent to courses you'd take at a university, except Camosun's tuition fees are much lower. We also offer you an academic advantage because your classes will never include more than 40 students. That makes it easier to meet friends, form study groups, and get to know the highly-qualified and dedicated instructors.
