After you have completed at least eight courses, you can choose to complement your associate degree with a work term. Find out more by contacting Co-operative Education and Career Services.

Adding a work integrated learning such as an internship or co-op increases your chances of getting better employment when you graduate. A University of Waterloo study showed that students who integrate a work term into their academic program are more likely to get great jobs in their field when they graduate. Learn more.

Co-op Options

In addition to regular program content, students pursuing the Co-op designation will be required to successfully complete two (2) Co-operative Work Experience courses:

* A student who successfully completes ASDG 101 but does not complete ASDG 201 will qualify for an Internship Designation instead of the Cooperative Education Designation.

Internship Options

In addition to regular program content, students pursuing the Internship designation will be required to complete a minimum of one (1) ASDG work experience course.
