Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology
Come out, meet your instructors and learn more at an Information Session!
Psychology is a tremendously varied field. Psychologists counsel, conduct research, assist business, industry and community, study social development, promote physical and psychological health through careers in private and public practice, teach, and find niches in disciplines close to forensic science and rehabilitation such as in criminal justice, medical science, law, and education.
As a student of the Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology program, you will have access to excellent academic advice—you'll have a definite path, but with room to explore along the way. Associate Degree students complete their studies sooner, and enjoy the fellowship that comes with being part of a cohort with the same goal.
Work Experience is now an option for Associate Degree students
Associate Degree programs have either a Co-op or Internship option. Students will gain practical work experience, which may be paid or unpaid, through either a four-month Internship or two co-op work terms, available after eight courses of academic study. For more information, contact a Co-op Employment Facilitator at phillips@camosun.bc.ca.
