Upgrading courses and programs are available to help you gain program prerequisites for college and university transfer programs. We also offer customized math and English upgrading courses that lead directly into certain career programs.
For courses or programs that have a secondary school prerequisite, there may be an alternative Camosun course (or combination of courses). For example, if you need Biology 11, take BIOL 102 at Camosun.

1Where a "C+" is required in an English 12 prerequisite, a "C" will be accepted in the alternative Camosun course.
2TPC 12 may be used as an alternate prerequisite only if it was taken before 2007/2008.
3Math prerequisites assume the academic version of the courses (unless otherwise noted). Math 10 refers to either Principles of Math 10 or Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-calculus 10; Math 11 refers to either Principles of Math 11 or Pre-calculus 11; and Math 12 refers to either Principles of Math 12 or Pre-calculus 12.
4The Math 11 prerequisite for Business courses (e.g. BUS, ECON, FIN, etc.) may be satisfied with a "C" in Principles of Math 11 or Applications of Math 12, or a "C+" grade in MATH 072 or MATH 135.
5You will need a minimum of "A-" in MATH 107 and permission of the mathematics chair to use MATH 107 as a prerequisite for MATH 100 or MATH 110.
