The Post Degree Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting option is designed to provide students with the background and knowledge to enter business or government in an accounting capacity.
It is targeted towards students taking courses to satisfy CMA (Certified Management Accountants), CGA (Certified General Accountants), or CA (Chartered Accountants) course requirements. Internship is available for this program.
The program consists of twelve courses and can be completed in approximately one year if taken on a full time basis, beginning in the Spring Term and completing ACCT 110, ACCT 111 and, if needed, BUS 140 and FIN 110 in the Spring and Summer Terms

Accounting Department Hosts Summer Events at Interurban
From July - September the accounting department successfully hosted seven networking and recruiting events for all lower Vancouver Island post-secondary institutions, with each event bringing together up to 110 accounting students with a total of 15 local and national employers who are hiring for articling and co-op positions. In partnership with Co-operative Education and Student Employment, there were six resume clinics and individual resume review sessions to successful prepare students for the highly competitive recruiting. The recruiting and preparation events were all a success, with the feedback from the firms, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC, and students all being exceptionally positive.
in addition, September 2012 was the first time that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC held the three-day final examination for Chartered Accountants, the Uniform Final Examination (UFE) at Camosun College. A total of 33 students wrote the UFE at Interurban campus, which was supervised by accounting faculty who also hosted a reception for the students and firms at the end of this milestone examination.
