The modern office has changed considerably and not only with technology. Roles have changed, the expectations of employers and the range of skills required in the office have increased, and there is a need for trained administrative management.

This two-year program is comprised of a one-year certificate program in Office Administration, Legal Office Assistant, or Medical Office Assistant, and then one-year of the Office Management diploma program. After completion of one of the certificate program, you can enter the diploma program starting in January, May, July or September. You'll receive administrative and management training while with focusing on human resource skills. You'll also have the opportunity to integrate your studies with relevant work experience.

Continue your education

Students who complete the Office Management diploma have the option of bridging into Camosun's Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management, as well as several degree programs, including Camosun's Bachelor of Business Administration - Human Resource Management & Leadership Major. Career opportunities include: Assistant to Executive/Manager, Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, supervisory level positions, small business owner, and/or positions in middle management.
