By the end of the MS-Office program, you will have developed a digital portfolio of documents that demonstrate your new or updated software skills.
The Completion Project for the MS-Office Certificate program consists of creating a project using all seven of the major Microsoft Office software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Outlook and OneNote. You choose your theme for your project, typically a small business (fictitious or real).
This project is an excellent opportunity to put into practice the skills you have learned in each of your courses as well as being a great marketing tool for your business, job search, or career advancement.
A student experience
The project excerpts on the right are a small sample from a recent graduate's completion project.
For my MS Office Completion project, I created a Triathlon Coach Education program. I chose this topic because I am interested in triathlon, I know people involved in the sport specifically coaching, and it could provide a variety of elements to fulfill the many MS Office project requirements.
This is a fantastic project. It will reinforce all those things you just learned and have now forgotten. But, you will have the confidence of knowing you can do this, you’ve done it before, and you just need to find where it is on the ribbon!
