“Fast track” your Advanced Diploma: complete the program in two years, part-time!
The program responds to the need for formal education programs to support the “professionalization” of the municipal, regional, provincial, crown corporation and federal sectors. As an Advanced Diploma student, you'll currently be at a supervisory to management level, aiming for this role, or you require a level of upgrading to remain competitive in the public sector.
Many of the courses offered will run in seven-week blocks, allowing two courses to be completed each semester. Core courses will be available in a combination of online and classroom mode, with an introductory class available on campus and the remaining six weeks of the course completed online. Options may be available if you're unable to attend the first class on campus.
For some courses, delivery may be in a classroom setting or equivalencies may be available online with other institutions. Options will be discussed with you as you plan your program.
A Prior Learning Assessment, which give you credit for specific courses, is available. Transfer credit may also be available for courses already taken at another recognized post secondary institute. Your transcripts will be reviewed to assess this.
