Japanese is written and spoken by 130 million people.

Several Japanese language courses are offered at Camosun in various levels. You can begin to learn grammar, syntax, vocabulary, reading and writing—then you can go on to improve your linguistic competence or practical communicative skills in all aspects of the Japanese language (including Kanji). Cultural and historical materials are added to enhance the understanding of the language.

Programs

It's new: Diploma in Arts and Science Studies

The Diploma in Arts and Science Studies, is a new credential from the School of Arts and Science. You will need to complete 20 university transfer courses (60 credits). At least 14 courses must be offered by the School of Arts and Science. This gives you the flexibility and freedom to study courses of your choosing. More info...
