- Undergraduate focus: Ancient and Modern Europe
- Graduate Research Areas: BC History, focus on native/European (missionaries) relations.
- Current Interests: Continuities (rather than merely examining change over time) in World history, from earliest urban areas to the present.
Why I teach: I enjoy the interaction in the classroom in which we explore aspects and issues which reach beyond the boring dates and facts often associated with history at the high school level.
