Mental Health Programs

Camosun offers two programs that lead to careers helping people who are living with mental health challenges. Our classes, labs, and practicums prepare graduates to work in a variety of team-based community settings. Learn more...(pdf - 266kb)

Community Mental Health (CMH) Certificate provides the foundational knowledge and skills to support people who face various mental health challenges. There is a growing need for qualified Mental Health Workers in our communities. Full time studies start in May; part time studies start in September.

Interprofessional Mental Health & Addictions (IMHA) Post Degree Diploma prepares graduates to work with older teens and adults living with complex, overlapping mental health and addiction challenges. With a focus on the application of advanced knowledge and skills, graduates may work in acute, tertiary, and community settings as members of an interprofessional team. The part-time 12-month program is suitable for local or distance learners who already hold a relevant Bachelor degree. Mental Health Programs
