The BC Human Resources Management Association is a registered non-profit society dedicated to advancing professional people practices. Its programs and services provide leadership to people working in all areas of human resources management in British Columbia. This organization grants the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation in B.C. Founded in 1942, BCHRMA is the largest association for professionals with an interest in human resources management, issues and practices in British Columbia. It is also a founding member of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA) which links human resources associations across Canada and represents Canadian associations internationally

The Canadian Council of Human Resources Association (CCHRA) is the result of the collaborative efforts of ten provincial and specialist Human Resources Associations that currently represent the interests of more than 25,000 professionals across Canada. This website links to all of the Provincial Human Resource Associations in a directory based format. Also included in the website is information on current projects and events, and established National Standards for Human Resources Professionals.
