Strong Human Resource practices are vital to the success of every organization. The Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management provides students with Human Resource Management (HRM) knowledge, skills and abilities for ready application in today's organizations. Concurrently, the program recognizes and enforces the important strategic organizational role played by Human Resource practitioners. You'll expand your current skills in areas such as:
- recruitment and selection,
- training,
- employee and labour relations,
- legal strategies,
- emerging policies in HR planning.
The program is designed for people who are in leadership or management positions, or employed as HR practitioners, or preparing for transition into leadership/management or HR roles. The courses in the program give consideration to knowledge and learning that will assist you in preparation for the CHRP designation.

Graduates of this advanced diploma are eligible to enter Camosun's Bachelor of Business Administration - Human Resource & Leadership Major. In addition, with considerable work experience graduates are eligible to apply to enter the Masters in Business Administration or the Masters in Leadership and Training at Royal Roads University.
Internship is an optional component of the Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management.
