Please note, any Criminal Record Checks done outside of the College will not be accepted and will result in additional costs.
  • During the program, Camosun requires that:
    • Students must successfully complete each program module in sequence to continue in the program and participate in the practicum.
  • Prior to practicum in April, the employer (IH) requires:
    • A TB skin test is compulsory. TB testing must be done within six months of the April practicum start and students must provide documentation of this at least one month prior to the start of practicum.  Students are responsible for the cost of this test.
    • Students are highly recommended to maintain current immunizations as per the Practice Education Guidelines of B.C. Completion requirements

  • Students must successfully complete each program module and practicum in sequence with a minimum of "C+"(65%) or "COM" (the student has met the goals, criteria or competencies established for this course or practicum) as required and practicum to be eligible for a Certificate in Hospital Unit Clerk.
