The new two-year Golf Management diploma program provides you with the background and knowledge to enter the golfing industry. You'll be prepared to become a beginning leader/manager in the golf industry. You'll be involved in the managing of facilities, grounds, programs, services and events.
The Golf Management program provides the opportunity for you to combine classroom study with paid practical work experience. These work terms will be in a broad variety of areas within the golf industry provincially, nationally and internationally. The Co-op Education office can provide you with more information.
As a graduates, along with successful completion of CPGA requirements, you'll be eligible to apply for positions in the golf industry such as head professional, associate professional or assistant professional in any CPGA facility.
You also have the opportunity to pursue further studies at Royal Roads University and other institutions. Consult with an Academic Advisor on all your educational opportunities.
Note: Graduates of the two-year Golf Management program can also complete a third year of studies at Camosun to meet the CPGA's Education Requirements.
