Business Administration – General Business Option

The General Business option gives you the opportunity to select a variety of business courses without sticking to a specific program area. In your second year, you’ll need to complete ten 200–level School of Business courses for which the prerequisite requirements have been satisfied.
This two-year program provides you with a valuable business education. Your first year is spent taking introductory-level courses that allow you to explore the program and provides courses in several different business areas. Your second year will be spent on your selected business option. You have the opportunity to combine your academic studies with relevant work experience through the Co–operative Education or Internship option.
As a graduate, you can continue your education, progressing to Camosun's Bachelor of Business Administration, transfer to a university or get started in the business world. You'll find employment opportunities in a variety of areas including accounting, banking, advertising, tourism, and management. You'll have a solid business training foundation that will help you achieve a challenging, upwardly mobile career in the business or financial worlds.
