Business Administration – Finance Option

The Finance program develops the skills and knowledge you’ll need to work in the finance industry. Offering a foundation in either financial planning or corporate finance, covering areas such as business finance; investment analysis; money, banking, and financial institutions; client relationships and marketing: professional ethics; economics; personal taxations and accounting.
This two-year program provides you with a valuable business education. Your first year is spent taking introductory-level courses that allow you to explore the program and provides courses in several different business areas. Your second year will be spent on your selected business option. You also have the opportunity to combine your academic studies with paid practical work experience in the Co–operative Education Designation.

Your career opportunities include employment with banks, finance departments of larger corporations and government; credit unions, trust companies, investment dealers, mortgage brokerage firms, insurance companies, lending and leasing institutions and financial planning firms.
