Civil Engineering Bridge to UBC

The Civil Engineering Bridge program is offered by Camosun with the full support and co-operation of the University of British Columbia (UBC). Gain access into the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Science degree program at UBC with your Civil Engineering Technology diploma. You'll study advanced topics that aren't typically found in technology programs.

Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering to the University of British Columbia

Civil engineering focuses on the design, construction and maintenance of our civil infrastructure. This covers a wide spectrum of areas, including water resources, transportation, structural, geotechnical, municipal, and construction.

The Civil Engineering Bridge to the University of British Columbia program is offered in the Fall and Winter semesters (September to April) for entry into UBC in September at either the Vancouver (UBC V) or Okanagan (UBC O) campus.

An Internship work term is optional for this program.

Internship (Optional: May-August)

Note To be eligible to participate in a work term, you need to successfully complete at least one academic term with a minimum GPA of 3.0, be fully enrolled in the academic term immediately preceeding the work term with a minimum of nine (9) credits, and complete CDEV WPS prior to your work term. You must also receive approval from the Applied Learning, Co-operative Education and Career Services department.

In addition to regular program content, students pursuing the Internship designation will be required to complete at least one work term.

Note Students may complete more than the required minimum number of work terms for the respective designation up to a maximum of two work terms.
