The Bachelor of Applied Science (B.ASc.) degree at UBC is equivalent to a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), and is also classified as a professional degree. Considered a highly specialized and desired degree, your B.ASc. will give you the technical training and hands-on experience to increase your chances of upward mobility in your field. The B.ASc. degree distinction is unique to Canada, other institutions internationally award engineering degrees through Bachelor of Science programs.
