IMAGE: Auto shopThe Automotive Mechanical Repair program provides training for entry into the automotive mechanical repair trade, and provides posible accreditation toward Year 1 Apprenticeship training.

Our Foundation program, formerly Entry Level Training (ELT), will provide you with skills to become automotive service technician apprentices, lube technicians, tire repair technicians, brake & muffler installers, parts persons, and a broad range of other positions in the automotive industry.You'll learn to use the tools and equipment used to maintain and service automotive systems such as brakes, exhaust, front ends, etc.

The Foundation Program is 30 weeks long with classes starting in September and March.

Upon graduation, you'll earn credit for your training with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) if you continue on to an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship.
