Note: Co-operative work experience or internship is an optional component of both these programs. Students may graduate from these programs without a Co-operative Education designation.
Completion requirements
- You must complete all program courses and achieve an overall GPA of at least 2.0 in order to qualify for the Diploma in Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy.
- You must additionally complete a minimum of two Co-op work terms satisfactorily in order to receive a Diploma in Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy, Co-operative Education Designation or a minimum of one Internship work terms in order to receive a Diploma in Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy, Internship Designation.

Access program
Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology Access is a six-month program, beginning in late September, to help you meet the admission requirements for the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy program.
You'll have an opportunity to upgrade your knowledge of profession-related mathematics, physics and English; learn about the fields of computers and computer-aided design (CAD), digital and analog electronics, and the use of test equipment; and you'll get a reserved seat in the next intake of the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy program.
