Note Work experience is an optional component of this program. Students may graduate from this program without a Co-operative Education or Internship designation.
Graduates of this program with a GPA of at least 5.0 (B) and no grade less than a “C” in any course may apply to the Electrical & Computer Engineering Bridge program, which bridges to the third year of Electrical or Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria.
- You must complete all program courses, including CDEV WPS, and achieve an overall GPA of at least 2.0 in order to qualify for the Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology—Marine & Industrial.
- You must additionally complete a minimum of two Co-op work terms satisfactorily in order to receive a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology—Marine & Industrial, Co-operative Education Designation or a minimum of one Internship work terms in order to receive a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology—Marine & Industrial, Internship Designation.

Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology Access is a six-month program, beginning in late September, to help you meet the admission requirements for the Electrical Engineering Technology—Marine & Industrial program.
You'll have an opportunity to upgrade your knowledge of profession-related mathematics, physics and English; learn about the fields of computers and computer-aided design (CAD), digital and analog electronics, and the use of test equipment; and you'll get a reserved seat in the next intake of the Electrical Engineering Technology—Marine & Industrial program.
