Come out, meet your instructors and learn more about the ELC program at an Information Session!
Work with children and families while advancing your education!

The Early Learning and Care Diploma program is designed
to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and values
to create responsive early learning experiences. Students
learn how to support and strengthen children’s unique,
physical, cognitive, emotional, creative, social, cultural,
and linguistic identities. Emphasis is placed on working
collaboratively with families, within communities and with
other professionals. If you dream of being an early childhood educator, this program will get you started in an exciting career!
A bursary is available to assist students with the cost of early childhood education programs. Summer session applications will be available June 2 at the ECEBC website. For more information please contact ECEBC.
As an ELC graduate you will be prepared to provide care and education that focuses on the needs of children and their families, and foster each child’s optimal emotional, intellectual, language, physical and social development. With your ELC diploma, you will also have the specialized knowledge, skills and values necessary to work with infants, toddlers and/or children with diverse abilities.
"The program has given me confidence and strength. I feel I’m very ready to go into the ECCE field because of the knowledge I’ve received, but most of all because of the support and the encouragement from my instructors and classmates." Program grad
