For courses or programs that have a secondary school prerequisite, there may be an alternative Camosun course. When considering English 12 or math 11 or 12 alternative courses, we've got options and advice for you to consider:

1Camosun offers alternative course options to complete English 12; take one of ENGL 092 and 094 or ENGL 092 and 096 or ENGL 103 and 104.
2Camosun offers alternative course options to complete Math 11; take MATH 072 and MATH 073 or MATH 137.
3Camosun offers alternative course options to complete Math 12; take one of MATH 105, 107, or 115.
Notes:
- Please consult with an Academic Advisor to discuss what courses are acceptable "Ministry authorized" post-secondary courses to plan your studies for this credential. See the BC Ministry of Education website for further information about this diploma.
- Secondary school academic courses may be used as part of this credential. However, a minimum of three out of the five courses must be taken as an adult student and a minimum of one course must be successfully completed at Camosun College.
- Students who wish to use the BC Adult Graduation diploma for admission to a BC university must complete additional courses. Please refer to the relevant university calendar or discuss your plans with an Academic Advisor.
