Computer Systems Technology
You’ll have a wide range of employment opportunities in fields related to information technology and the implementation and operation of computer systems as a graduate of the Computer Systems Technology program.
As a Certificate graduate, you’ll be able to seek work in technical support, sales, repair or small office administration; or, as a programmer with skills in Java, JSP, PHP, Oracle, MySql and other technologies, you’ll be able to work as a web programmer for database-driven dynamic websites.
As a Diploma graduate, you’ll have expanded opportunities for employment in applied computing and computing solutions; organizations such as government agencies, scientific or engineering enterprises, forestry companies, wholesalers and retailers, and online or Internet-related businesses will have the need for your skills as a Computer Systems Technologist. You may also choose, as a Diploma graduate, to continue your education through the Software Engineering Bridge program.
