Computer Science students receive training in computer programming for computer architecture, data structures, computer languages, productivity and quality assurance of software. Camosun College offers all the courses you need to complete an Associate Degree and transfer to a university. For those of you who enjoy the challenge of exploring studies in programming languages, software and hardware, we offer an Associate Degree in Computer Science. This is a two-year, provincially defined program that leads seamlessly into third year Computer Science at the University of Victoria or any university in British Columbia. The Associate of Science Degree ensures that you receive block transfer credit for all 20 courses taken at Camosun. It is a focused, full-time program where you'll be taking courses with a regular group of like-minded classmates. Geographic Information Science (GIS)- Associate Degree Science

This program offers you a science option that complements the current Geography - Associate Degree Arts. You will gain an understanding of important fundamentals in Geography, Mathematics and Computer Science. You'll be taking a focused, full-time program with others who share your interests. You'll graduate with a credential that is recognized by many employers and universities. GIS - Associate Degree Science is a two-year, provincially defined program that allows you to block transfer to the third year of the recently developed Geographic Information Science Degree programs at the University of Victoria (UVic) and other universities. University Transfer
Take your first two years of Computer Science here at Camosun to transfer directly into the third year of a Computer Science Degree at any university. University Transfer has the flexibility to allow you to take courses part-time or full-time with courses starting throughout the year. UT courses can be transferred to an Associate of Science or Arts Degree and allows you to take any necessary upgrading of courses, all at the same time. More information...
Computer Systems Technician/Technology
The Computer Systems Technology program is composed of a Computer Systems Technician Certificate year, and a subsequent Computer Systems Technology Diploma year.
