Criminal Justice Annual Recognition Ceremony

Held the Friday or Saturday after the Winter semester's last week of classes and just prior to the final exam week each April, the CJ Recognition Ceremony is the Program's way of acknowledging your completion of the two year program of study. The evening is one of some formality, but also great fun as it honours each graduate and those winning awards specific to our program. The evening is usually held in one of Victoria's fine hotels and consists of a No-host bar from 5-6:00, a sit down buffet dinner, a guest speaker to address the class, presentation of Recognition Certificates to each graduate present, presentation of the CJ awards, CJUS peer recognition and a dance. The evening is a wonderful way to bring your academic career at Camosun to a close. The event usually draws approximately 120-180 people, which include graduates, their guests (family, friends, partners etc.), representatives form the College administration and faculty.

Funds raised by the CJUS are used to help reduce the overall costs of the evening.
