This 6 month long program allows you to pursue the courses in Mathematics, Physics and English that you’ll need for the Civil Engineering Technology program. You’ll earn credits for the Civil Engineering Technology program through additional courses in surveying, technical drawing, graphics and computing and you’ll be able to decide whether to pursue a career in civil engineering. Upon completion you'll have acquired:

As a Civil Engineering Technologist, you’ll be able to seek employment with contractors, engineering consultants, soils and materials firms, project management consultants, testing laboratories and a wide variety of municipal, provincial or federal government agencies. Graduate technologists may be involved in all phases of a variety of projects, including the design and construction of bridges, highways, airports, dams, subways, subdivisions and water and sewage treatment plants.
