Civil Engineering Technologists are employed with:

As part of an engineering team, you may become involved in all phases of a variety of projects, including the design and construction of bridges, highways, airports, dams, subways, subdivisions and water and sewage treatment plants.

In this 2 year program you’ll be introduced to CAD and drafting techniques, surveying on state-of-the-art equipment, computer-based design systems and all aspects of project management. You’ll acquire the skills and knowledge you need for a successful career within the wide-ranging field of civil engineering.

If you’d like to gain relevant work experience while you’re studying, Co-operative Education is an optional component of the Civil Engineering Technology program.Camosun also offers Civil Engineering Technology Access, First Nations Civil Engineering Technology Access, and Civil Engineering Bridge, which leads you toward a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering.

The program starts late September at the Interurban Campus.
