Admission requirements

If you’re missing some prerequisites, don’t worry! Alternative secondary school prerequisites and general upgrading are available right here at Camosun College. There are many options for you to consider:

Notes:

  1. It is highly recommended that students attend an information session;
  2. We strongly recommend you have basic computer literacy including experience with keyboarding, and basic internet search and email skills.

Participation requirements

Practicum placements are a mandatory component of this program.

Completion requirements

You'll need to complete all program courses with a minimum "C" grade including: ENGL 150, ENGL 160 or ENGL 164, PSYC 154, PSYC 256, HLTH 110 and one elective for a total of 61 credits with a GPA of at least 3.0 in order to graduate with a diploma in Community, Family and Child Studies.
