Community, Family, and Child Studies
The CFCS Diploma offers you diploma-level recognition, and transfer credit towards university degree programs including direct transfer into third year Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria, University of the Fraser Valley, or Vancouver Island University. You must obtain an overall GPA of "B" or higher and complete all courses with a letter grade of "C+" or higher for this option. If you are a certificate graduate from a Department of Community, Family, and Child Studies program (e.g. CSEA, ELC and IFS) you can apply for transfer credit into year two of the diploma (certificate graduates can complete the program part-time over 2 years and will be required to take some first year courses.
