Whether you wish to fast track your career with a 29 week HCA program, or take a more intensive program to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, our programs will prepare you to care for patients and clients in a variety of community settings. Under the expert instruction of experienced faculty, you will gain the knowledge, skills and attitude you’ll need to truly make a difference for people at all stages of life and health.

Health Care Assistant Program
In the Health Care Assistant program learn to work as a valued member of a health care team in a variety of settings, including geriatric facilities, acute care, or community settings. Under the direction and supervision of a health professional, HCAs provide care aimed at promoting physical, psychological and social well-being of clients across the life-span. HCAs work most often with older adults. In addition to the general HCA program, we offer specialized education for students who have English as a second language and for Aboriginal learners. 
Practical Nursing Program
Practical Nursing is a career for people who wish to provide direct nursing care in complex, acute or community care settings. During the PN program you will gain the knowledge, judgment, abilities and skills to work with clients of all ages who are in need of professional nursing care.
Practical Nursing Access for Health Care Assistants Program
The Practical Nursing Access program is for students who hold a valid HCA or RCA certificate and have a minimum of 850 hours of related employment experience. The PN Access program acts as a bridge to the LPN credential, allowing students to apply their knowledge and experience to a shortened Practical Nursing program. You will learn to give professional nursing care to individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings.
