Business Administration Changes

Important Changes to the Business Administration Diploma Program
The School of Business at Camosun College is committed to providing the best possible educational experience for all of our students. We regularly review our program offerings to keep them current and make sure that we are consistent with other similar programs in the province. As a result of our recent reviews, we are making two changes to our Business Administration diplomas.
What are the changes?
- Effective immediately, all the Business Administration diploma options will require 20 courses instead of the current 21 courses to graduate. The course that has been eliminated depends on your chosen diploma option. Check the new Personal Learning Plans below to see what has changed for your option.
- Effective Sept. 2009, Bus 120 Business Law is being renumbered to Bus 276 Business Law.
How will this affect you?
- If you have completed 21 courses, and you are ready to graduate then the changes do not affect you. Simply apply to graduate. You are also one course closer to finishing your BBA degree at Camosun!
- If you have completed 20 courses, you may be eligible to graduate under the new program. New Personal Learning Plans have been posted below, and your Program Leader would be happy to discuss all the details with you. To make it easy for you, contact information for all Chairs and Program Leaders is listed below.
- If you have not yet completed 20 courses, then you will have the option of completing either the new 20-course diploma or the old 21-course diploma. New Personal Learning Plans have been posted below, and your Program Leader would be happy to discuss all the details with you. To make it easy for you, contact information for all Chairs and Program Leaders is below.
- You only need to take Business Law once – either as Bus 120 or Bus 276.
