Check out all the new programs and courses for 2013/2014 in the School of Arts & Science. If you are looking for a new elective option, this is the place.

Biology is the exciting and dynamic study of life from a molecular to a global perspective—the study of living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution and distribution. As a Biologist you'll have career opportunities in education, medicine and health, biotechnology, forestry, fisheries, and agriculture. You'll find employment in teaching, laboratory or field research, medicine and dentistry, and scientific writing in both the private and public sectors. Camosun offers a full range of courses from microbiology to ecology. You'll be in smaller classes for one-on-one learning with our dedicated teaching faculty—not to mention having access to more teacher-taught (not lab assistants or teacher assistants) seminars and labs than first and second year university offerings. We also offer prerequisite and program courses for education, nursing, dental hygiene, and sport education through the University Transfer program. All our courses are transferable to other accredited institutions.viewing frog shadow through leaf
